About Us
The Kansas Association of Risk and Quality Management (KARQM) is an affiliate of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) the leading national organization serving professionals in the field of healthcare risk management. KARQM is also an allied organization with the Kansas Hospital Association (KHA).
The purpose of this organization shall be to promote the delivery of quality health care and to promote the practice of risk and quality management in the health care setting
Our membership continues to grow and includes a broad range of healthcare and risk management professionals such as risk managers, patient safety specialists, quality managers, insurance professionals, attorneys, claims representatives and healthcare providers who share the same goal: the prevention or mitigation of loss or injury for patients and healthcare providers. We provide educational conferences that are open to members and nonmembers. Please feel free to contact any of our board members for additional information or if we may be of assistance. We hope to have you join us for future events and/or membership.
