District Meetings: educational and networking opportunities may be offered in various locations across the state.
Continuing Education credits (CEU's): are awarded for many of the activities we present.
Mentor Program: designed to assist in the professional growth and development of the in inexperienced Risk Manager or Quality Manager.
Leadership Opportunities: members have the opportunity to serve in chapter leadership roles on on the board of directors, helping to guide the direction of the organization and developing leadership and collaborative skills.
Scholarship Opportunities: members will have the opportunity to apply for scholarships to assist in obtaining professional certifications.

Additionally, the conference provides a great opportunity to meet and network with other Kansas risk and quality management professionals.
The election of the board of directors takes place during one of these events, and only chapter members are eligible to vote.

Membership Levels
Membership affiliations are associated with the individual's name on the application only.

Active: An individual must be affiliated with a hospital, health care facility or health related institution or organization, and who, in that capacity, is involved in health care risk or quality management.

Associate: An individual who does not meet the requirements of Active membership but works as a consultant, employee or agency representative for businesses that serve health care organizations. Associate members have voting privileges but cannot hold a KARQM Office.

Student member: To promote academic progression within the healthcare quality and safety arena, any student with interest may join.
